The sign of a good Chicago neighborhood is not the property value or the level of crime, but whether neighbors shovel more than just the sidewalk in front of their house.
Killer
Connor smiled…. “Ye made a mistake, lad. A dire one, I’m afraid. Ye ran into a fella like me. Too bad for you.
“We have police business with this young man. Unfortunately, we’re going to have to ask you to leave.”
Scientists Confirm Assholes Go Out Of Their Way To Make Your Life Miserable

I Believe… [Age is the Number of Pounds Your Back Can Sustain]
..that, while personally moving all my stuff to a seventh floor apartment by myself makes my dude brain feel all badass, my back would like to register an official complaint to HR.

Please Harass Me (If This is What Harassment Looks Like)
I'm less certain the new-ish protocol is more respectful but it is definitely more careful and maybe that's enough. I've never really understood the catcalling type of guy but I'm not Italian.

The Price of a Gun
What sets the Baldwin case apart is that not only he, the shooter, is being charged but both his armorer and the guy who handed him the gun are being held to pay
The Select Subcommittee Committee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government
The committee will be led by Rep. Jim Jordan from Ohio who knows a thing or two about suppressing voices.
The Bizarre Inflation of Crises Via Platform
Respectively, each of these horrors of the modern world can be found on: CNN, MSNBC, FOX, Faceborg, Twitter, TikTok, and a coupla podcasts. Each platform seems to prioritize a different threat to us all but none of them are what I’d call big issues.
Jake and Caroline’s first date was at The Whistler. They talked about Ronnie, how much they loved The Diplomat, and debated the better ride-share service, Uber or Lyft. She was Uber, he was Lyft. They got wasted on Sazeracs and had sex at her apartment. It was incredible for both of them. Caroline stopped taking sex advice from Ronnie.
