Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of January 29, 2023

By David Himmel

• Got the baby his flu and covid shots. So now we all have autism at our house.

• Made a Target run on Saturday with my pre-schooler blasting Lizzo on Spotify during the drive. I’m a great mom.

• You know… for all the shit I give John Lennon for being a wife beater, a terrible dad, and the Beatle with the most grating solo career, it sucks that he didn’t get to see how the Star Wars trilogy ends.

• I stand with Rep. Ilhan Omar.

• Finance is a religion. Its teachings and practices are based on a (hu)man-made all-powerful deity that is both fickle and punishing. If we stopped believing, it would cease to exist and maybe bring about world peace and oil for all.

• Don Hall isn’t perfect. But he’s more than deserving of celebrating on his birthday.
