On the Lamb

AI is only as good as… nah, AI sucks. But it’s quick and easy, like your ex-wife.

For Michael Zigler.

It looks so dramatic.
I lined it all up like I wanted to really enjoy it.
A hot bath.
Two fresh Miller Lites.
A pipe stuffed with weed.
A book for my short attention span.

I get real high.
I slip into the water, fizzy with bath bombs.
I read.
I drink.
And I drift off—away from the day. The reality.
The bad perceptions.
The faulty facial expressions.
The Feeling.
THAT feeling again.
That feeling that it’s time to go. Flee.
By the looks of it in here, I’m going one way or another
and another feels pretty permanent.

This is me on the lamb.
