Being offended is a choice. Just like it’s a choice to live your unrealistic truth. It’s okay to live in a fantasy world of discomfort but why would you want to? And don’t be surprised if no one fun wants to join you there.

…that, if your demand is to confront and challenge but to avoid being confronted or challenged, “speaking your truth” is nothing more than hypocrisy. Your truth is not THE truth merely another aggrandizement of your opinion.
He was tired of carrying her weight. Her financial choices and responsibilities. Her alcoholism. And he knew she was tired of his drug abuse and laziness and porn addiction. And Train played. And the guy kept talking. “Thing is, man… if it weren’t for divorce, I’d have student loans.”
