• Boredom is the gateway to creativity.

• Teacher Appreciation Week feels a little aggressive when it butts up against Mother’s Day.

• Spring is the worst of the seasons because it is a hormone-driven basket case of emotions and ideas. Sure, winter can be brutal, but at least it’s dependable.

• Sometimes, acting the opposite from the way you want to act is how you get exactly what you want.

• A new car really can give you a long-needed pick-me-up.

• We must strive to make what happens to us good for us. That’s how we master disappointment. That’s how we evolve and persevere.
