I Believe… [Tell a Better Story]

...that the story you continue to tell about yourself to others becomes your own reality over time. So, tell a better story.

...that the straw that breaks the camel’s back is exactly that: a straw. It’s a minor grievance that topples the animal over after lots and lots of straws.

...that when you discover that every inaction with humans seems to involve some sort of amped up performance, it’s good to focus in on the few interactions that allow you to relax and avoid the performance.

...that it’s best that when you decide you are done with something or someone, truly had all you ever need, be fucking done. Close the door, burn the bridge, move on.

...that if the world is actually in peril of ending perhaps it’s better to relax and do your best to make the last days bearable and humane.
