Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of September 21, 2025

• Let’s stop comparing Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler. Trump is not Hitler. Hitler was far more articulate.

• Some people just can’t be helped. They can’t help choosing to play the martyr, the victim. It’s fine to eventually let these people drown in the rough sea of their own making. The trick is saving the poor souls they might bring down with them.

• The problem with political conversations is that they always turn political.

• There are two sides to being divorced with kids. On one, things still suck because you still have to deal with the troubling, annoying dynamics of your co-parent. On the other, it’s great because you no longer have to share a bed with them and breathe their farts.

• I’m never as nervous as I am when driving someone else’s car while they’re in the car with me.

Kamala Harris’ new book and media blitz supporting it is looking like the greatest public meltdown since Britney shaved her head and beat up a car with an umbrella. Difference is, I felt bad for Britney.
