• Even the coolest among us lose our cool.

• Life’s greatest challenge is finding the middle lane without crossing over into oncoming traffic.

• If you’re lacking purpose at the office, there are always dishes to be done at home.

• Getting on the Blue Line the other day, me, two other men, and a woman were waiting for the car door to open. Usually, it’s a rush to get on and claim a seat. All three men, without saying a word to each other or giving a knowing glance, gestured to let the woman board first. She smiled big and stepped on. Then we three boarded. Masculinity might be dead, but chivalry is not.

• Don’t get old. Old equals complacent.

• Humans are complicated. There is no one truth.
