Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of July 18, 2021

By David Himmel

• Reports are that 99.5 percent of Delta variant-related COVID deaths are unvaccinated people. So, when this thing surges in the fall and wipes all of you unvaxxed, non-safety practicing folks out, you’ll have no one to blame but yourselves. And to a lesser degree, Donald Trump.

• Getting older is learning to make room for other people.

• Behind every successful man is a partner who leaves him the hell alone. Or that man is single.

• Sometimes I think people make things harder on others just to give themselves a sense of control in their otherwise chaotic and mismanaged lives. Those people need a hug. Like, smother them to death.

• Kindness is a slippery slope.

• It’s probably racist to use that phrase. My apologies.
