...that while I completely agree that college should be tuition-free in the United States, asking for previous student loans to be forgiven is a bit much. College is optional, not mandatory and anyone who signed up for a loan to go knew exactly what they were getting into.

…that when we have yet another election for Illinois governor between two white billionaires, we need to re-evaluate our strategies in convincing the population to vote for better. The "aren't we cool and progressive" smugness, the angry moralizing , and the appeals to be humane for all citizens don't seem to be working...
It’s easy to misconstrue something you hear or read. Do better by doing the harder work. Pay attention, take your time. And trust that the hard work really isn’t that hard.
