Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of February 8, 2026
• Just a reminder to the MAGA and Turning Point America folks… even God-loving/fearing people don’t like your shitty brand of country music.
• People who post personal or political opinions on LinkedIn are the same people who walk into crowded elevators and fart. “I’m living my truth and everywhere is my place to be my authentic self.”
• The death of James van der Beek is sad. His roles in film and TV hold special places in our hearts and in our cultural identity. He was only forty-eight years old. That’s young. And he left behind a young family. It hits close to home, and yeah, it’s sad. Apparently, like the theme song to Dawson’s Creek said, he didn’t want to wait for his life to be over.
• Just like the idea that if every kid is a winner, no kid is a winner, if every aspect of our lives is a political hot point, then our lives are pretty fucking stupid.
• Your political leanings won’t make me write you off. Your racism will. Your mean spirit will. And your taste in music absolutely will.
• Had to jump onto GoDaddy.com to check some domain stuff. For a website company, GoDaddy’s user experience on their site is absolute trash.
