I Believe… [The Company You Keep]

...that if I’m attracted to a woman, it has a 88% chance of ending in disaster. If a woman is attracted to me, there is a 97% chance I will wonder why.

...that each of us is defined in large and small ways by the people we choose to have in our lives. Be discriminating and choose wisely.

...that a sign of progress is to begin measuring your time in days instead of hours, weeks instead of days, months instead of weeks. The slow crawl toward envisioning a future you want to be in is an act of optimism.

...that patience is difficult but not as daunting as living with bad decisions.

...that the tendency to overthink my place in the world can be maddening. Sometimes it’s just best to do and enjoy.
