I Believe… [The Flipside of Grit]

...that the anticipation of something you haven’t done in a long time is usually much more satisfying than the actual doing it.

...that what you do for a living is the least interesting thing about you as is your economic status.

...that, if grit and industry is something you respect, you have to hand it to thieves who steal catalytic converters because at least they aren’t sitting on the sidewalk with a cup.

...that once bitten, twice shy. Twice bitten, should be cautious but won’t be. Thrice bitten, the gift of both regret and fear are unwrapped. If you manage to bitten four times, maybe you should just die already.

...that the idea you can walk your weight off is just slightly more dipshit than Ozempic.
