Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of September 11, 2022

By David Himmel

• How many Amazon delivery trucks are repurposed UPS delivery trucks? Any number is enough to make me laugh at the irony of good business.

• Finance is a scam. Insurance is a racket. Capitalist pawn beware.

• I keep forgetting Russell Crowe is fat and old now. But I do remember when he was buff and young and helped end Dennis Quaid’s marriage.

• We’re thinking of getting a new car. And I’ll only buy it from the LaRusso Auto Group.

• Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler” is more harrowing and gripping a tale than anything the Notorious B.I.G. coughed up. If that sounds racist to you, then you know nothing of good musicianship and storytelling, so back to your Moth podcast.

• Stating the obvious here, I know, but Lindsey Graham needs to be aborted.
