Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of February 13, 2022

By David Himmel

• I read a comic book to my son the other night at bedtime that I wrote. I haven’t read it since it was published six years ago. It’s not very good. Too wordy. When we finished it, the kid said, “I like that story.” He has terrible taste but is very kind.

• Gifts of gratitude are nice. Gifts to excuse repetitive insulting behavior are insulting.

• Being alive. It’s a non-stop journey into the What the fuck?

• If I handled my marriage disputes with the same calm, open-minded approach which I handle work disputes, I’d be a much better husband.

• I’ve grown tired of the headlines proclaiming trouble for the Trump organization. This has been a thing for five years. Trump will never be in trouble. Not in any kind of trouble where he or his family will have to serve a punishment. He’s too crafty and idiot for us to really get Trump in trouble. And that’s his genius

• John Cena is a better everything than Dwayne Johnson.
