Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of August 8, 2021

By David Himmel

• I just made the perfect egg, so, yeah… I’m feeling pretty good about life right now.

• I love watching Titans of the Righteous fall.

• I’m still quite happy Chicago lost the bid to host the 2016 Olympics.

• Andrew Cuomo… So many of you loved that guy at the start of the pandemic. Oh, what a hero. I didn’t. I knew better. He’s a Cuomo. He’s in a dynasty of power. And the way he and his “journalist” brother played slap and tickle with each other like they were at a backyard barbecue was idiotic. None of this shit surprises me. I mean, the self-aggrandizing wanker published a book about how to handle the pandemic in the middle of the ongoing pandemic. That’s some ego. So, yeah, of course he groped women. The dude has always done whatever he wanted with impunity until now. Andrew and his brother Chris can play slap and tickle all they want. Hopefully now it’ll be in the dustbin of history.

• Every fire I build, I’m silently avenging my Color Days obstacle relay loss.

• Agent Peggy Carter is totally hot. Cartoon Captain Carter is even hotter. If that makes me a misogynist, you’re wrong. It makes me horny for a cartoon.
