Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of January 31, 2021

• “My ex was a terrible husband but he’s a great father.” That’s separating the art from the artist.

• The one drawback to beating back Trump’s racist, hateful insurrectionist followers, is that it’s going to drive them into the shadows where they can recharge their batteries and come back in a generation to destroy our mixed-race children with their pure-blood villainy. Or, they’ll try.

• Marjorie Taylor Greene’s masks are to anti-Semites and racists as Judah Friedlander’s hats are to liberals and feminists.

 • I love the smell of my pee after drinking loads of coffee and eating bushels of asparagus.

• The lack of curiosity is the leading cause of death.

• We’re all hypocrites. It’s when we can’t admit it that our hypocrisy becomes truly problematic.
