Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of November 14, 2021

By David Himmel

• Sneezing with a bloody nose is always funny.

• Eating pizza naked on a hotel bed is life at its best.

• In my opinion, pineapple can go on pizza. But the idea of drizzling gooey cheese on a piece of warm pineapple repulses me. I have been working through this complicated realization for a week now and the logic is not any closer to revealing itself.

• Stereotype I hate: White men in black Patagonia vests drinking a mixed cocktail while holding the mixing straw bent over the rim of the glass. Stereotype I love: Black women in fur coats.

• It is amazing to me how differently the human brain develops from one person to another. I am fantastically puzzled by tax law and amortization just as a tax professional may be by scriptwriting and acting in front of a camera. (I had to spellcheck amortization.)

• A nightcap isn’t always necessary. But don’t let that stop you from having one.
