Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of September 6, 2020

• Every day at the White House is Bring Your Child to Work Day. If Biden is elected, he’ll have a harder time with that.

• The Facebook photo frames telling us to Never Forget 9/11 feels uncomfortable with your smiling faces framed by the somber memory of that day. But, hey, great minimal effort on proving to us you remember.

• A lot of Christians make Christianity look really bad. But, it’s just a few bad apples. Can’t hate all the Christians. #ChristianLivesMatter #DefundChristianity

• The seasonal change from summer to fall should depress you. It’s the sign that things are about to die. Leaves on the ground are the carcasses of nature’s annual genocide.

• Having the ambition is what’s important. If you aren’t striving for something greater than what you’ve achieved, what’s the point?

 • Writing through everything you’re feeling—tired, frustrated, confused, bored—is the only way to move past those feelings. Write anyway. I’m looking at you, David Isaac Himmel…
