Notes from the Post-it Wall | Christmas Movies Edition

By David Himmel

It’s a Wonderful Life inspired my fascination with suicide.

• Kurt Russell is a far superior Santa Claus than Tim Allen. The Holocaust is a far superior comedian than Tim Allen.

• The most unrealistic thing about Home Alone is that Fuller, a bedwetter, would have also overslept.

• As far as movies about the importance of mail go, Klaus is way better than The Postman.

The Holiday is the romantic holiday film equivalent of a pre-chewed children’s vitamin.

• Even more than Love Actually, Scrooged is a magnificent holiday rom-com.

* Bonus: Wonder Woman 1984, y’all.
