Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of November 17, 2019

By David Himmel

• Political/social stridency is about as attractive a trait in a person as Jimmy Fallon fandom.

• Life provides us with many opportunities to shine. One example is when you’re the only member of your family who isn’t sick. Seize that opportunity.

• Online shopping is not a revolutionary thing. It’s as old as mail-order catalogues.

• If small businesses are going to survive, they need to have the shit I want in stock.

• “Never take ‘no’ for an answer” is great advice. Unless you’re on a date.

• I don’t mind it when my kid coughs in my mouth. But it really twists my balls when my wife does it.
