Windy City Empire Coronation 16
Everyone is invited to celebrate the successes and triumphs of the 15th Empire and welcome the new 16th Empire at Windy City Empire’s Coronation 16. Hosted by the Imperial Windy City Court, the coronation is four days of festivities at some of the Chicago Court’s favorite venues including the Windy City Empire Coronation Gala, at Sheraton Suites O’Hare. The theme for this year’s coronation is “Speakeasy—Chicago Style!”

In-Town Show and Roast & Toast of Empress Kate & Emperor Chewy
The festivities begin on tonight at Charlie's Chicago! We’ll bring back some of the talented performers who have helped us this past year. This is the only show of the year in which performers get to keep their tips as a thank you. Dress for the 1920s speakeasy theme!
We will also be Roasting & Toasting their Majesties Empress Kate and Emperor Chewy! Come give your best quips and snarks, all in fun, of course. Money raised from Roasts & Toasts will go to the Coronation Fund.

Out-of-Town Show followed by Bus Tour
Join us for a cash bar as a prelude to the Out-of-Town show featuring performances from our guests visiting us from other courts. The show ends at 8:30 p.m. to give us time to get ready to go on a bus tour of our favorite spots in Boystown, Andersonville, Rogers Park, and more!
There will also be the option to stay back at the hotel and enjoy the company of Empress Kate at a "Sober Nobles" event starting at 9 p.m. in the O'Hare East Room. She’ll have games, activities, jokes, and more! You don’t have to bar-hop to have a hopping good time when Empress Kate is around!
