By Don Hall

…that it’s ironic that after decades of women fighting for parity and equity in the realm of sports they are now being displaced in competition by transwomen. Feels a bit like men using a back door to marginalize women again.

…that if the Las Vegas City Council wants to make being homeless and visible a crime, they should likewise make predatory rent and ridiculously expensive healthcare a crime as well. You know, just so they don’t seem to be so openly disdainful of the poor and mentally ill.

…that if you listen carefully and observe their actions, you can tell the difference between someone legitimately suffering and someone using suffering as a bowling shirt in order to get some attention.

…that among the worst tendencies in human beings is the need and ability to justify our shitty behavior in order to continue doing it. The phrase “The end justifies the means” is the mantra of the most depraved capitalists and most brutal revolutionaries.

…that you can inspire someone to change. You can educate someone toward change. You can support someone as they change. You cannot make someone change, and all your efforts to do so, being met with failure, are the cause of your great outrage.
