Just Another Bad Habit
Hey, Girl, Hey, It's the Month of May — Three Poems
Buying luck with soft licks of cash
Exhilaration alone empties your stash.
Planes cruise overhead, the planet turns
Palm tress sway, but no one learns
It’s all about love in these years.
So, how about love in these years?
She said, “You bring the poon, we’ll bring the doom.”
She was always down for trouble.
Always in some kind of it.
Kicked out of the restaurant for dancing topless on the table.
Fired for shaving her head in the Executive Bathroom.
Hunted by a loan shark with one eye for refusing to pay her debt.
