I Believe… [Old Age]

...that the hysteria over the threat of China is just the Red Scare rebooted.

...that adversity strips from us the illusions we perpetuate about ourselves. What we do with that naked version is entirely up to us.

...that old age as a concept has little to do with the slowing of the body and far more to do with the decay of curiosity.

...that none of us needs as much food, distraction, social relevance, or attention as we think we do. Sleep and water, on the other hand…

...that trying to please people who don’t care much about you is a fruitless grind. Set your own pace and those who walk with you are worth your energy.
