Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of April 21, 2024

By David Himmel

• Time and space heal all annoyances.

• Work the path. Sail the seas.

• The universe will always operate with balance. America will always tip the scales.

• A spoonful of nostalgia can be a sad soul’s remedy. Sometimes, however, it’s just a placebo.

• So much of job searching is like pouring your resume and cover letters into a well that empties into an abyss occasionally cleaned up by robots running on half-dead batteries.

• The human body is an amazing machine. I’m in awe of its ability to keep us alive despite our best efforts, what with our processed diet and sedentary living. But mostly, I’m in awe of when I fart six minutes after taking a big dump.
