...that the urgency others isn’t mine to carry. Try to get all Zen and shit. It’s the borderline between calmly dealing with people whose hair seems to be on fire and fully not giving a shit.

...that our media should not assume we’re all so stupid that they must tailor the message to move the needle. I mean, we are stupid but we still prefer straight info to propaganda or lecturing.

...that if you find yourself repeating the same “I should do this thing today” that you simply do not do indicates you are stuck in a loop.

...that a monster truck event at a rural state fair is just a different sort of Pride parade.

...that if you find yourself suddenly solo in the world and don’t take the time to strip away the bullshit you tell everyone about your values and find those core beliefs, you wasted the opportunity.
