I Believe... [Did You Really Live Your Experience?]

By Don Hall

...that we humans are just apes with calendars and aircraft and the cognition of the possibilities of the future.

...that the guy who reprinted the Harry Potter books without Rowling’s byline is kind of on the nose for a demographic who believes a superficial cosmetic change alters an underlying reality.

...that the difference between experience and lived experience is the shift from that which all people have to branding for perceived authority.

...that I feel uniquely connected with the rest of humanity in that, during two years of a pandemic I could’ve learned a new language or mastered Constitutional law but instead binge-watched Better Call Saul and Bridgerton while comfort eating food delivered by people who couldn’t afford to quarantine.

...that detransitioning today is the tattoo removal of yesterday.
