I Believe... [Bristling Elites]

...that I’m glad Nevada changed the name of the airport to Harry Reid before the guy croaked. I mean, just before he passed but I still like the idea that he had a moment to pat himself on the back and say “They named an airport after me.”

...that 2021 will be one of those historical years (1066, 1776, 1941) that will be centered on the buffoonish insurrection, the massive vaccination push in some ways thwarted by the same idiots, and the concomitant nationwide protests against police brutality.

...that movie theaters will soon become like vinyl record stores—still in existence for those of us looking for that live film experience but sort of quaint and vintage.

...that gaslighting is claiming harassment when someone responds to a tweet on your feed but denying harassment when a mob of people dox someone for disagreeing with them.

...that when Pulitzer prize winners and people with advanced degrees bristle at being called “elites” the Emperor’s codpiece just slipped off his huge, highly educated, monied cock.

AND

...that I’m not dancing on your shitty mood when I say 2021 was actually pretty good for me. Looking forward to 2022.
