Questions to ask yourself to have a great day!

Many of us went into lockdown in the middle of March. The pandemic has gotten worse and the country is desperate to reopen and get back to “normal”.

Now, more than ever, it’s important to stay optimistic and find reasons to feel positive about the world.

I do this by asking myself several questions in the morning in the mirror.

What do I want to accomplish today?

What do I most look forward to doing?

Who am I going to reach out to today?

Did I take my meds?

Should I eat again?

How many naps is too many?

Do my cats talk about me? In a good way?

Are these the same clothes I was wearing the last time I had a Zoom meeting?

Are these the same clothes I slept in?

Do I have quarters? (I do. That’s something. I better hang on to them.)

Do I have beer? (I do.)

Do I have enough beer?

What would be enough beer?

Did I brush my teeth?

When was the last time I brushed my teeth?

Do I build up immunities when I don’t brush my teeth?

When was the last time I showered?

What is showering?

How are you?

We’re doing great!

One beer a day is healthy for you.

One beer a day is healthy for you.
