I Believe... [Who’s Fragile Again?]

By Don Hall

...that my go-to response to pretty much anything proselytized by the Far Left or Far Right (yes, I believe they are almost identical in tactic and rhetoric) has gone from “What? I’m outraged!” to “Oh, gimme a fucking break already.” This includes white grievance and anyone replacing vowels with an ‘x’.

...that there is a big difference between seeing the path and walking the path. Seeing it is easy; taking those steps from a place of comfort and stability is the real challenge.

...that by expanding grievances to a wider and wider list of insult and perceived assault, we minimize and compartmentalize those aggressive acts that result in actual pain. Eventually, every boy is crying wolf and we no longer care if the wolves are real.

...that “it’s interesting how people who are enraged, offended, and describe everything they dislike as ‘violence & harm’ believe that it is everyone else who is showing ‘fragility.’” She said it and I believe it…

...that America has become Jurassic Park. We close it because of all the unnecessary death then re-open it without changing anything and then wonder ‘what went wrong this time?’
