I Believe… [Post Election Special]

By Don Hall

...that maybe the message “You’re stupid and racist if you voted for Trump” backfired some. Perhaps the Left could find a message of unity rather than division to promote? Nah. Fuck that. So much more fun to continue this dance of electoral horseshit.

...that more people voted in this election than any since 1900. The most obvious and indisputable will of the population has been tallied. We are almost evenly split.

...that it is astonishing that a multicultural conservatism emerged in support of Donald Trump rather than in spite of Donald Trump. More Non-White citizens voted for him than any other conservative presidential candidate in history—the specter of white supremacy does not explain this in any way.

...that those making a living conducting polls shouldn’t be making a living conducting polls.

...that in 2016 we demonized white women for voting for Trump. I now expect a wholesale demonization of Hispanics. Progressive, my ass.

...that at a certain point one would think we have to admit that there is simply a large chunk of the population, including a substantial fraction of non-White people, who do not buy into progressive intellectuals’ conception of what racism is.

...that QAnon is no more or less lunacy than Critical Race Theory. To hold on to either to influence your worldview paints you as an unthinking idiot.
