I Believe... [Insurance is Only an Entry Fee]

…that the Left’s biggest problem right now is the narrative to 300 million people. They can tell the story of impeachment well or several stories (impeachment, racism, climate change, #MeToo) badly. And the narrative that much of the country is too stupid to get it ain’t playing so well in DesMoines.

…that insurance is no more than the membership fee for entering a doctor’s office. It is not actually insurance against catastrophe but a payment to be allowed in the room.

…that if you pan JOKER for being nothing more than an excuse for homicidal incels but claim The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo or Django Unchained are somehow righteous, you’re a fucking dimwit and a hypocrite.

…that with his abandonment of the Kurds, Donald Trump has now become the president we all feared.

…that democracy is the long gamble. If it was easy or comfortable, it wouldn’t be worth the effort because, face it, letting a dictator or monarch just decide things for us is easier. At its heart, democracy is about finding common ground.
