I Believe...

...that for people who have lived with the internet their entire lives, I suspect that who they are online is more real than who they in person.  This is disturbing in a Stanley Kubrick sort of way...

...that, regardless of the ongoing decision to not gain the eighty pounds I lost seven years ago, once in a while drinking beers and eating half of a large sausage and pepperoni pizza is a necessity.  So delicious and life affirming...

...that, contrary to the beliefs of the Nestlé CEO, water is a fucking human right and should in no way be privatized.  In fact, given the propensity for corporations to poison our water globally, the technology created to purify it should be free to every single human.  Also, some cookies would be nice, too.

...that my guess is the Chicago death toll would go down if there were fewer guns on the street because "500 Fist Fights Broke Out in Chicago" isn't quite as devastating as gun deaths.

...that the term "Live Lit" was used first (as far as my research can tell) in The Village Voice as a description of a poetry/prose event in 1982.  Pretty sure no one from Chicago was there at the time.
