I Believe... [Preserve the Peace]

...that balancing a new found humility with the required overconfidence to get things done is precarious but necessary.

...that Halloween for adults is several weeks of behaving like seven-year-olds with access to liquor and cash to buy fishnet stockings.

...that there is a significant difference between the states of surviving, existing, and living. I have experienced the first two in the past year and a half and I’m ready to dive back into the third before I croak.

...that some plans should just be planned and executed rather than telegraphed to preserve the peace.

...that the fact that my ‘lived truth’ differs in conclusions than yours invalidates neither perspective.
