I Believe… [Trump is Us. Own It.]

…that anyone who uses social media to insult, shame, name call, posture and overtly self-promote is in no position to castigate Trump for it because you are playing from the exact same playbook as our Idiot Savant President. The biggest tragedy of the 2016 Election is that we finally elected someone just like us.

…that any categorization of people that comprises more than 50 percent of the population is normal or of the norm. Based upon that reductive statement, women are normal, men not so much.

…that between the fucking Google App that compares your face to a classical piece of art to the goddamn Faceborg app that shows you what you'd look like if you were the opposite sex lies the point where we all die of starvation from staring at ourselves in a pond.

…that a life hack for when you can't afford to get the next phone or tablet — get a new case/cover for it. It suddenly feels like it's a brand new device for very little investment.

…that while I am super excited to see Marvel's Black Panther, I will refrain from writing even a sentence of a think piece on it. Yes, I am a lifelong comic book fan but some films are bigger than the sum of it's vibranium parts. The middle-aged white guy will simply enjoy and get out of the way for some serious reflection from those most affected by an Afrofuturism version of a superhero tentpole film. That said, if you don't know what Afrofuturism is, best to let the adults talk.
