I Believe... [Public Restrooms Are a Universal Good]

...that the first real meal you prepare in a new place is somehow an act of great significance. Especially if it’s freaking tasty.

...that driving a long distance is to a sense of Zen as flying commercially is to a sense of despair.

...that few things feel better in an existential sense than work that involves both your brain and your body, with people who respect you and have high expectations, and the presence of readily available public restrooms.

...that protesting a foreign war by blocking traffic doesn’t really accomplish a fucking thing. Sure makes you pretend you’re part of the solution but so does recycling and we all know that’s a load.

...that umbrellas are for the weak.
