I Believe... [AI vs Swift]

...that the act of submitting and applying to something you want reduces all of us to middle school children hoping for a speaking role in the school play.

...that the older one gets, the more one has to muscle through rather than relax and enjoy a 12-hour solo roadtrip.

...that the ever present fear of AI can only be overcome by Taylor Swift getting mad that after a billion photos of her online were manipulated to create fake porn. AI had no idea what a quagmire it entered on this one.

...that anticipation of great change is both exhilarating and terrifying in equal parts as the void of that which is unknown but hoped for reveals itself in increments and puzzle pieces.

...that ‘senioritis’—the state of knowing the end of something is around the corner so why give a fuck anyway, right?—is not reserved for high school students.
