I Believe... [in Classic Cars]

...that the more I listen to podcasters shill for bizarre products, the more I find an overwhelming disgust with the advertising industry in general.

...that there is no more room in my life for petty squabbles and unnecessary drama.

...that considering men are the most incarcerated, the most murdered, the most likely to commit suicide, the most likely to die in war, and the least educated, the idea that there exists a patriarchy is about fifty years in the past.

...that passion and art can be found anywhere as long as there are people willing to create things out of a sense of joy, curiosity, and obsession. Don’t believe me? Go to a car show in Central Kansas and talk to anyone who has spent years building out a pristine 1926 Ford Roadster.

...that sometimes the best meal at dinner is a great big bowl of cereal.
