I Believe... [Defining Cool]

...that the Chicago Public Schools wouldn’t have lost 77,000 computers if they had been Apple laptops.

...that the key to successfully livingin a small space is an abundance of hooks.

...that, while I am a white male, I think it’s apparent that those currently in the fight for increased civil rights really lost the thread on that whole radical nonviolence thing and alliances across ethnic lines.

...that the definition of what is and is not cool is pretty simple. Anyone desperately seeking popularity or approval? Not cool. Anyone disapproved by a lot of other people? Cool.

...that sympathy never helped anyone. Neither did self pity.
