I Believe... [Misunderstanding the Term]

...that the idea that you can only write about a subject if you have the ethnic and gender identity of the subject undermines the power of culture itself.  Culture is appropriation.

...that sometimes all it takes is a recliner to complete the room.

...that the challenge with working with people significantly younger than yourself is that, if you’ve actually done things in your life, you already know the answers to questions they just started asking but you’re old and thus easier to ignore. Like being a crotchety Cassandra, doomed to understand what’s coming but stuck in the back office struggling with the new social media manager over the effectiveness of Tik Tok advertising.

...that most people out in the world have wildly misinterpreted what the word ‘community’ means.

...that parking isn’t the problem. You leaving too late thinking there will parking is the problem.
