Things That Should Be Left in 2023

by Don Hall

Hey! It’s an end-of-the-year listicle! Groovy.

Things that we would be better off it they were left on the curb next to the big blue dumpster with “2023” wiped in feces across the front.

Mental health self diagnosis.
Social media manners in real life.
Podcast hosts reading three-minute commercials.
DEI professionals.
Book banning.
Complaining about Biden’s age or his screwed up son.
Anyone other than a combat soldier or rape victim using the term PTSD in reference to themselves.
Fake meat.
Ideological media.
Road rage.
Organized mob shoplifting.
Violent protests.
Donald Trump.
The words privilege, whiteness, blackness, [any race] adjacent, and Nazi (unless referring to someone who belongs to the Nazi Party).
The use of the phrase “M-She-U” to complain that Marvel is too woke.
The word woke.
Minding everyone else’s business.
TikTok.
