Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of December 4, 2022

By David Himmel

• When feeling fried, remind yourself how satisfyingly delicious fried foods are. Think of yourself as a fried egg or a piece of fried chicken or a fried Twinkie. Your sacrifice will bring joy and diabetes to so many!

• I’m still emotionally drained and offended by watching the MCU’s Vision die over and over again.

Miniscule is a gorgeous word. Not sure what to do with that feeling.

• Revolutions don’t die; people grow tired.

• Family politics are tough. And sometimes I wonder if my family thinks I’m the one acting like Marjorie Taylor Greene.

• Look, I love Christmas. The good feelings and the magic the idea of peace on earth brings, but let’s be honest… Christmas would suck shit if there weren’t presents.
