Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of November 13, 2022

• Trump announcing his candidacy for the presidency is exactly the same as me announcing I’m going to have a bowel movement within five hours after eating McDonald’s. It’s obvious and the result will be a foul mess that’ll take quite a while to clean up.

• I’d love a client that is cool with foregoing Motivational Monday social media posts for Freaky Fuckin’ Fridays where we send hot tips for an awesome weekend. Like, how to get laid, which beer tastes best coming back up, and how to hide a body.

• The universe is amazing. The more we discover of it, the more we learn of it, the vaster and more incomprehensible it becomes.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is proof that the MCU still has the ability to tell a solid superhero story with human stakes that drive character development. It doesn’t erase the embarrassment of She Hulk and Thor: Love and Thunder but it does magnify how lazy those two turds are.

• When in doubt, go for a walk.

• It’s that time of year again… get ready for all those virgin Jewish guys to make Tik Toks performing acapella Hannukah songs or re-lyricing pop songs with Hannukah-centric lyrics. This has nothing to do with the War on Christmas, but it is the thing that really takes the joy out of the season for me. Boys, you’re trying too hard to be cute. Keep it to your aunt’s living room. The world doesn’t need this shit.
