I Believe... [Same Culture Wars, Different Decade]

...that with the alarming rise in mass shootings across the country, defunding the police couldn’t come at a better time. Sending social workers to help an attention seeking jackass hellbent on inflicting human damage gives him different targets.

...that “community violence” is to “crime” what “height challenged” is to “short”.

...that the culture wars ongoing are no different than the culture wars fought in the 90s except with social media the exponential growth of extremist crackpots makes it seem so much more pressing. We didn’t know how many idiots were out there in the 90s because we weren’t subject to their crazy yet.

...that Mitch McConnell has confirmed what we all knew along—he is the living embodiment of all that is shitty about humanity. Funny how that was something we suspected all the way back when he was spawned from the Vaginal Hole of Satan’s Mistress.

...that the debate about how free our speech should be is not a partisan issue but rather an American issue. Or maybe an Enlightenment issue. Every time an American is censored from speaking his or her mind, an angel has its wings viciously torn off by a member of the papacy.
