…that the Bible, Koran, Tarot, Astrology, and almost every other spiritual approach to living and dying on the planet is really just informed self help elevated to mystical status. Strip the magic from it and you might live a better life and not be that person we all try to avoid at house parties.

…that Gerard Butler is the poor man’s Bruce Willis combined with an inability to truly capture an American accent but I love him anyway.

…that your stance against billionaires is only undercut by your reliance on a gas-powered vehicle, your adherence to googling things when you want to know something, wearing shoes made by mega-corporations, and your lunch at McDonalds/Burger King/Popeyes/KFC/Taco Bell.

…that the saddest fact of society is this: most people who promote nude beaches are unsightly when naked.

…that, like Trickle Down economics has proven to be a failure time and time again, the politics of moral shame has been wholly ineffective in reducing the numbers of bigots, sexists, and white supremists. Maybe the smart kids should try another tactic.
