Literate Ape presents BUGHOUSE!, a 75-minute show designed to interrogate concepts, proselytize truth, and dissect popular thought through a lens of skeptical artistry. Three bouts, six warriors, three decisions. BUGHOUSE! aims to definitively answer the most (and least) important questions of the day.
VALENTINE’S DAY: Cupid’s Arrow or Hallmark’s PayPal?
Who Got It Right: Orwell or Huxley?
Is Satire Dead in the Age of Trump?
These questions and so many more will be explored, debated and answered by a singular deciding judge (randomly selected from the audience) and soapboxed by some of Chicago’s finest writers, stand up comics, musicians, and poets.
For February 12th the lineup will be:
Drinking and Writing Theatre @ Haymarket Pub & Brewery, 737 W. Randolph
Tickets are $10.00 at the door
Literate Ape is a literary digital 'zine and a dumping place for the random musings of a small shrewdness of diverse apes who managed to learn to read and write and use computers.
