I’m officially “old”.
Not old old but old enough to see the end closer than the beginning.
I’m old enough to sneer at a generation who, for the most part, don’t have a comprehensive understanding of history, of art, of music but still think they know things about politics. I’m old enough to begin yelling at clouds.
Jackie Brandenburg is young. She’s a Zoomer. She is frightfully Woke. She also just received her college degree in political science so she knows a thing or two about both the ills of the world and some ideas on how to solve them.
I have more life experience than Jackie. She’s already smarter than me.
Thus, XwhyZ.
It’s a monthly podcast where she and I take on those ills and do our level best to solve them pragmatically and without the condescension so popular among generational divides.
