…that victims of crime/abuse/harassment should never be allowed to determine the sentences of those who victimized them even if they have public opinion on their side.

…that when you are told you aren't welcome somewhere because it's a "safe space" you can choose to be a dick about it or shrug it off. Being told you aren't welcome ahead of time is better than being bounced once you're there.

The people who voted for him didn't see it and, if they did, I'm certain your entreaty to fuck off did mountains of good.
