I Believe… [Poor People Remind Us the System is Screwed]
…that if you read the entry page to any of those "Which Harry Potter Character Are YOU?" quizzes and are then shocked and surprised that one of those companies made big bucks selling your info to the Trump campaign, you are either hopelessly naive, overwhelmingly gullible or dumb as a bag of toenails.
…that, for those thrilled with Democrats being competitive in Republican strongholds, it might be wise to figure out what these politicians actually plan on doing rather than just hating Donald Trump.
…that Americans hate the poor because poor people remind them how rigged the capitalist system is against anyone not born into wealth. No one wants some smelly, homeless former public school teacher demonstrating the thinness of the ice one stands upon.
…that maybe, in the world of non-binary gender, we should just do away with pronouns altogether and just use each others' surnames. Then all of a sudden, society would sound just like a giant version of GlenGarry Glen Ross.
…that, whether they brand it that way or not, the Left in government are believers in Trickle Down as well. Trickle Down economics, Trickle Down morality, Trickle Down change. The idea is that if the intellectual elite in urban areas do it, it will naturally just trickle down to the rest of the country. This policy doesn't work any better than Austerity.
